The birth of the name ‘Palestine’

Well known and documented in the Thora is the founding of ancient Israel. Archaeological findings and ancient writings proves the rich Jewish life in ancient Israel ( including the area until the euphrate). In those days, hundreds of years before Christ, No, ‘palestinians’ were in the area, it were the people of the Kingdom of Israel, the Jews, that lived in the area, the indigenous people.

But after the Romans conquered the land of Israel, Judea&Samaria, the Emperor Hadrian did the standard Roman thing of destroying the properties of those who had rebelled against Romans, in this case the Jews, and attempted to wipe them out in total, destroying the Jewish Capital City Jerusalem and renaming it “Aelia Capitolina”, and renaming the Jewish’ Country, from “Judea”, a sovereign Nation state, to part of the Roman Province of “Syria-Palestina”.

They then marched off the Jewish elites into Roman Slavery in Europe.
So, as a mark of contempt and disrespect for the Jewish People, Hadrian renamed their Land after the hated “P’leshtim” (invaders) of Jewish history, a group that had disappeared with the Assyrian Invasions. The name “Palestine” was of course kept as part of Roman Maps/Literature/Tax Records from the Province of Syria-Palestina, and the name was the standard reference for the Land all over the Roman Empire, even after the Roman Empire was no more. Fact still remains, this was a Jewish region, not an Arab region. Jews were, also in the Roman time, the inhabitants of Palestine aka the kingdom of Israel.

The English empire conquered the Ottoman empire and renamed the part of the country that is now Israel, by Roman example, to Palestine. The few Arabs that lived in the region, refused to be called “palestinian”, it was even a curse to them, they wanted to be called Arabs. All of these facts are written and documented, you do not need to be a genius like Einstein to acknowledge the facts, but you need to have some intelligence and common sense.

In 1964 Egyptian born terrorist leader (PLO) Yasser Arafat visited Moskou and had talks with the KGB. After his visit he introduced the name “Palestine” and “Palestinians” to the Arab nomads in the area. Since that day it is one of the most brilliant marketing concepts: create the “underdog”, show poor “innocent”, ‘ starving’ children living in “refugee camps” ( There are enough houses, but the leadership forbade to live in those houses, to gain the global sympathy). The new state of Israel forgot to anticipate on the new phenomenon “(social )Media War” and slowly but surely Israel was losing global sympathy.

Back to our friend Professor Einstein, that taught academical skilled people to think… You should think that Intelligent people would not fall in the trap of cheap propaganda and plain lies regarding the Arabs calling themselves “palestinians”, afterall FACTS are painting a different picture. But shocking is to see that especially in academic areas the hate against Israel is growing. Although that almost All that the Arabs, calling themselves ‘ palestinians’, claim is refutable with facts. The hate is increasing to absurd levels.

Which lies for example”

1. Israel is committing genocide and is guilty of ethnic cleanising, the facts are different
2. Israel should give land to the Arabs calling themselves “Palestinians”. Fact is that the former Ottoman empire is divided in a huge part for the Arabs 73 pct and 27 pct for the Jewish state.
3. Israel Defense forces ( IDF) are a brutal murderous organization. FACT is that IDF as ONLY army in the world is using roofknocking methods and is sending warning SMS to avoid civilian casulties

Definition: of roofknocking: Roof knocking (Hebrew: הקש בגג) or “knocks on the roof” is a term used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to describe its practice of dropping non-explosive or low-yield devices on the roofs of targeted civilian homes in the Palestinian territories as a prior warning of imminent bombing attacks to give the inhabitants.

And so we have hundreds of lies we can debunk by facts. I can write books full of it. Still academic people especially, ignore the facts and spread the poison of lies into the world.

Is this a matter of intelligence or is the biggest problem in this matter that Antisemitism never died?
